I will export the registry and try your suggestion. Double clicking on Bitmaps that are already on my system work as they should. That's why they don't know what to do but call me or email me back asking if I could send it again some other way. It just so happens that many other sources (cameras, scanners etc) just take their own defaults. Just go to IE's tools, internet options and delete temporary internet files.
