I can use this earlier version with no problems, but was wondering if there is a fix in the works for the "Disc Required" issue that others have run across? Another shot: maybe try a Linux disk, see if you can burn files? I have been able to burn many CDs, saving family pictures taken with a digital camera. I haven't tried to repair install Windows as I don't know how to do that. I've had problems with Windows built-in burning software from time to time.
