Back to top #4 ggoo ggoo Newbie Members 4 posts Posted 06 November 2006 - 07:12 AM Hi ggoo, one question?, what version of easy cd or creator were you using i think you will find this the reasion why you cannot read them?you old system had: E C Creator V4.02c and DirectCD v3.01c from Adaptecand you are now on EMC8? Better hurry. If I take the disc out and put it back in again while Windows is running, it just says no disc in drive.


in the Windows KB but did not find anything that directly fixed the problem. Windows will ask for a driver for something like a modem or NIC, but the CD-Rom drive won't need a driver within windows.
