If Windows did decide to install with the drive letter E: you can only fix that by reinstalling Windows and making sure it doesn't detect other drives or partitions as C: I wonder if this happens because I installed on Hyper-V and was required to install the VM Additions for Windows 8.1. I thought this post was specifically for getting it on a Windows 8 OS? I know the CD is good because I have used it to install Windows on an identical IBM NetVista. I'll bet Bill Gates uses Windows 7 and has a jukebox full of vinyl. the "dpic-control" feature does NOT zoom every element of you desktop application! Microsoft doesn’t officially support it on Windows 8, but there’s a way to get Windows XP Mode running on Microsoft’s latest operating system anyway.
