This problem makes both OO and LO unusable in my opinion and I will not be recommending the applications again until the problem is fixed. Then choose browse and find your virus exe. My rules and current/past giveaways are here. One of my colleagues is having this problem. Source

It just freezes at the "Microsoft Word XP" screen. Nor is there a way to raise the screen to see if there is a button hidden below the fold. Most likely it's a drive letter pointing to a share that doesn't exist any more.
