By Alt-Ctrl-Dele on the wallpaper screen, enter "regedit" in the new task, click ok, bring you to registry window. As long as Next I alt-tabbed to Emacs, its Ediff control window, to be precise. That registry edit did the trick and saved my bacon! You're a life saver.
