Please, 'Repair Your Computer' option is more useful for me than 'Safe Mode'. I have only usb. Every time I restart the computer it tries to boot from the HD without windows installed on it. Safe setting in the browser are also a line of defense. I am trying to use drive scrubber boot disc from CD drive.
My preference is stand-alone programs rather than suites- the reason is because if there is a program, it's easier to troubleshoot a stand_aloe rather than a suite. Even though many of my keyboards have had USB plugs, they usually ship with a little PS2 adaptor (or vice versa: a PS2 plug with a USB adaptor).
