But XP cannot format a 3TB drive, so the sales person lied to you in the first place! But there is some info now. If this was only going to make a 127GB partition, it would have told you so. If you move out your self-created and irreplacable data, you will see/measure that the used size left over for Windows and installed programs wil probably shrink a lot.
