Hard Drive Not Showing In Disk Management Windows 7


The hard drive was a 250 GB and it died so I replaced it with a new hard drive which is 1 TB. I've tried many different jumper settings, but nothing would work. However, MiniTool Partition Wizard provides you good features, which enable you to extend boot partition without difficulty. I will try disconnecting the two and see if anything happens. weblink

should I install a new cable to the mobr also while I got it apart? Ideas? The computer is admittedly old and the only parts I've replaced is a new video card (a few years ago) and added more memory. Is this a HDD failure or a software issue??
